Chronicle: our first Rottweiler was "Cisko vom Ingenhof", ZB-Nr. 45593
, SchH III, a very good Schutzhund dog, but having too bright eyes, so in shows we always found ourselves somewhere on the back ranks.
The second Rottweiler was "Luna vom Kallenberg" ZB-Nr: 46573, which was also punished by a fault, because the lower right P2 was missing.
After that we got our first breeding bitch, Assi von der Werther Stadt"
ZB-Nr: 46280, and we started our Rottweiler breeding by one raised puppy. The next litter was much better and resulted in 5 raised puppies
. The comment of the main breed warden at that time was: "Trees must not grow too fast into heaven, otherwise you never will become good
Rottweiler people." Therefore, my Rottweiler friends and young breeders, don´t let discourage yourselves by any mishaps, better days will come again."
Slowly the situation improved, and in "Laika von der Grürmannsheide, ZB-Nr: 48876, I had found a good bitch which showed all good characteristics. I was lucky to get four healty litters out of her.
In 1980 I bought the bitch "Ralle vom Märchenwald, ZB-Nr: 54491 and could also raise some good litters out of her.
Just to remind me that trees do not grow into heaven, Ralle couldn´t become pregnant again in the age of 5 ½.
Her daughter "Gitta von der Burgbleiche" ZB-Nr: 59508, after a
successful training to SchH III, IPO III, AD, gekoert, got a bad metritis, so we were thrown back to the starting point. But we did not give up and started anew.
The next dog was our "Babusch" which brought some success in
sports. At the same time we bought another puppy and the luck came back. We had a lot of fun and pleasure with "Cora vom Burghügel
Mark”, ZB-Nr: 68391, SchH I, AD, gekoert, and all our friends loved her very much. This bitch raised 33 puppies in 6 litters, it always delighted
us on the dogs sports area, in the town and in our holidays, she was the pet of the nation. Unfortunately she left us in March 1999 in an age
of 12 years and 10 months, which is almost a bible like age for a dog of a large breed.
Our last breeding bitch, "Xira von der Burgbleiche" ZB-Nr: 85929, SchH
I, BH, AD, is similar to her mother and so far has 6 very satisfying litters born and raised.
Like her mother she shows a lot of drive in the Schutzdienst, and each
dogs sports man would be glad to see such well inclined dogs.
Dear young breeders, pleased never be discouraged by a mishap. The sun shine is followed by shadow, but after the shadow there will be
sun shine again.
We are sorry, our Xira died in the age of 13 years. Due to health reasons we do not own a Rottweiler any more.
